The above list of documents is not final and may vary depending on the applicant’s individual situation. Before starting cooperation, our manager conducts a free assessment of the applicant’s situation and evaluates the chances of obtaining a visa. This significantly increases the likelihood of obtaining a UK visa due to our individual approach to each applicant. Alternatively, we can timely warn the applicant about a high probability of refusal, which may help you avoid a visa refusal as well as unnecessary loss of money and time. If the potential applicant’s situation is not sufficiently favourable for obtaining a positive decision on a UK visa application, we will provide recommendations on how the situation can be improved in order to apply for a visa in the future and maximise the chances of obtaining a UK visa.

This service can be ordered and paid for through the Visa Application Centre website when booking your appointment to submit biometric data.

UK General Student Visa for Long-Term Study

Once entrance exams and interviews have been successfully completed, students and their parents are faced with the question of obtaining a UK student visa. In many cases, the variety of visa options can be confusing. There are three main types of UK student visas: the 6-Month Student Visa, the 11-Month Student Visa, and the General Student Visa (previously known as the Tier 4 Student Visa). So, which visa should you choose? Is the General Student Visa the right option for your studies, or would another visa category be more suitable? The specialists at Prosto Visa will help you understand the differences between the available student visa categories and select the most appropriate option based on your course, length of study, and personal circumstances.

Who Needs a UK General Student Visa?

If you have been accepted to a university, college, or school and plan to undertake long-term studies in the United Kingdom, you will most likely need a UK Student Visa (previously known as the General Student Visa or Tier 4 Student Visa). After you have been admitted, your educational institution will issue a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies). This document contains your unique student reference number and important details about your course, institution, and period of study. Receiving a CAS is one of the main indicators that you need to apply for a UK Student Visa. The CAS is a mandatory document that must be included as part of your visa application and is used by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to assess your eligibility for studying in the UK.

All UK visas are now issued in electronic format (eVisa). Once a positive decision has been made, an official notification from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) will be sent to our email address. After that, our manager will assist you with registering your personal UKVI account, setting up access to your eVisa, and provide detailed guidance on how to use it when travelling to and staying in the United Kingdom.
